PURPOSE:
The goal of this project is to place tribal government in a postition
to effectively compete for Hazardous Elimination (HES) program funds
to eliminate hazardous roadways on Indian reservations, and other
available highway safety funding.
OBJECTIVES:
- Develop a funding guide of Federal traffic safety resources
available to Tribes.
- Assist tribal governments to identify hazardous highway locations,
sections and elements; and to develop and prioritize projects.
